EVO Rock Bags

The Evo Rock Bags are a flexible net to be filled with rock or crushed concrete and used for erosion control, scour control of stabilization of soil.

They are a better solution than loose concrete, gabions, block stone and rip rap providing high performance erosion and scour control in a manner that is efficient and effective to deploy.

Perfect for standard and emergency construction to stabilize soil and foundation structure in a variety of construction applications.

Decades of Civil and Soil Engineering Experience.

The rock bags are filled with graded rocks as flexible, but ecologically advantageous engineering solution. For erosion and scour applications, the smaller graded rock within the net bags reduces flow velocities by absorbing water energy into the high interstitial spaces between the rocks being effective in both fresh and salt water. These high interstitial spaces also provide enhanced habitat for invertebrates, accrete fines, gravels and silts which allow vegetation to establish naturally over time. In soil stabilization applications the rock bags become an large mass that is able to compliment and integrate with the existing natural structure. The rock bags are easy to fill and manipulate through a ring that becomes the single point of contact during installation. As the rock bags are flexible, they can easily conform to the surface thus eliminating the need for site preparation in most cases.

Common applications with almost a million rock bags deployed.

The Rock Bags can be used independently or as part of a bioengineering design with vegetated systems above water level, providing the most effective scour and erosion control solutions available in the market — providing habitat biodiversity simultaneously with an engineered approach for asset protection.
